2 tbs. finely chopped onion 3 tbs. butter 3 tbs. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/4 cups milk 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 lb. Dejon Delights Smoked Salmon, flaked* 3 tbs. dry white wine 2 tbs. fresh parsley toasted, slivered almonds pastry shells
Cook onion in butter until tender but not brown. Blend in flour, salt, and a dash of pepper. Add milk all at once, cook quickly, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. Stir in sour cream. Add Dejon Delights Smoked Salmon, wine and parsley. Heat through. Serve in pastry shells or spoon over hot buttered toast. Sprinkle with almond slivers. Serves 4.
